I was starting to getfrustrated and feel a little bit of pressure. Daily tours during the summer are held at this location. The Cape Hatteras Anglers Club is a proud member of both these organizations and encourages your support as well. The Outer Banks are a thin strip of land that jut out into the Atlantic Ocean. What some of them lack in he way of a boat they more than make up for in their beach vehicle. Talk about your beach buggy, customizations, driving on the sand, tuning it up, tires, airing down...What good is all that sand if yah can't drive on it? They're open on their normal schedule of 9 a.m. However, The Rocks can be very dangerous, especially at high tide when they're slippery, wet and partly under water, so be sure to enter and leave the area during low tide. These include the Intracoastal Waterway, which runs parallel to the coast from Little River to Socastee, where it merges with the Waccamaw River.
